School Age Program

Our School Age program serves the educational needs of school age children. We provide those services in a self-contained classroom under the guidelines of Special Education Teachers, Occupational Therapist, Physical Therapist and Speech Therapist.

In our setting, we can not only provide the academic training, we also can provide the daily living skills and pre-vocational skills that the disabled need in order to best independently care for themselves. Things that most children learn naturally, (personal hygiene, home living skills, following directions) are taught in the most realistic setting possible. Our students are taught shopping skills, how to wash clothes, dishes and windows, and survival skills. We have a Registered Nurse, employed full time, to manage the health care needs of our students. We currently can serve thirty students upon referral from the student’s school district.
